Music Without Borders Festival 2024 shines a spotlight on the creative contributions of Arab women through Hanim | هانم, a special concert celebrating iconic Arab women in music like Umm Kulthum, Asmahan, Fairouz, Sabah, Shadia, Warda, Mayada El Hennawy, and others.
The Arab world has a rich musical heritage that is in no small part due to its women singers. This concert features the exceptional voice of Ranya Jamal and is under the esteemed direction of Syrian-Canadian musician Gaby Al Botros.
