About the event
Presented as part of the Music Without Borders Festival 2025, Diwan: A Damascene Love is a musical tribute to the renowned Syrian poet Nizar Qabbani. Performed by the Toronto Arab Orchestra and conducted by Gaby Al Botros, this evocative concert transforms Qabbani's verses into orchestral and choral compositions by Gaby Al Botros and Husam Numan.
The evening will also feature a special appearance by prominent Syrian presenter and content creator Bisher Najjar.
